I hope the answer to that questions is a resounding “YES”. If you have a portion of your wealth invested in the stock market, you have some choices to make. You can let it ride, sell out and go to cash, or re-balance your portfolio. Personally, I recommend you re-balance the portfolio.

If for whatever reason you are new to the game or thinking about jumping into the game, I would recommend you either wait for a pull back or enter the market in stages over a 12 month period.  There are many different strategies that you could employ and many different instruments you can use to get into the market.

In the market or out of the market, you must continue to learn more about the market and it’s instruments. Now is also a great time to start the learning process wherever you are to develop a plan to get you where you want to be.  If you want my personal opinion on your specific situation, I’d be more than happy to share my thoughts.
