Waistline Circumference

The F3 millionaire mindset proposes the effective management of your finance, fitness and faith to achieve a healthy life balance.  This post will address an issue in the fitness category.
How many of you pull the scale out of the closet each morning hoping that today will be the day it provides you the number your were hoping for?  Maybe you would just be happy if the number was a little less than yesterday’s number.  Perhaps, if only you could see some progress then you’ll be motivated to stay the course or dScaleo more to accelerate the gains (or loss in this case), but today is not that day. While most of us are after results for pure vanity reasons, there is a much bigger reason for shedding a few pounds of body-fat. There are many studies that indicate a number of health risks associated with excess body-fat. This is especially the case when it comes to excess fat around the mid-section.

Here is an article excerpt:
“Abdominal fat is one of the most dangerous kinds of fat you can have. The reason it’s so bad is that unlike your love handles — which are the pinchable fat right beneath your skin — the fat that is in your stomach area grows deep inside your body and it wraps around your vital organs. Your liver borrows this fat and turns it into cholesterol that can sneak into your arteries and start collecting there. When it collects, your arteries start to harden, and when they get hard, this can lead you to having a heart attack or stroke.”
TapeFurthermore, body weight alone is not an accurate method to access your heath or condition.  Using a tape measure is better tool to chart your progress or the lack thereof. So swap out your progress measuring tools from weight scale to measuring tape for weekly or monthly assessments.
